Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

1. About the Service

Inbox Buddy is a web application operated by Eorghe SRL, a company registered in Romania (hereinafter "we", "us", or "the Company"). The service allows users to connect their Google Gmail account, view unread messages grouped by sender, and move selected messages to the Gmail Trash.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Inbox Buddy you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Google Account & OAuth Authorization

To use Inbox Buddy you must authorise access to your Google account. We request the following OAuth scopes:

  • gmail.readonly — to list and read your unread messages.
  • gmail.modify — to move messages to your Gmail Trash.

Your Google OAuth tokens are stored exclusively in an encrypted, server-side session cookie and are never written to any database. Tokens are automatically discarded when your session expires or when you sign out.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
  • Use automated scripts to make an excessive number of requests to the service.

5. No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Use of the service is entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eorghe SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania.
